Q1: Do I need an internet connection to use the app?
Yes. An active internet connection is required to upload images for AI analysis and generate inspection reports.
Q2: How does the AI analysis work?
HiveCheck uses advanced image recognition algorithms (via our third-party AI partner) to analyze uploaded beehive frame images. The AI detects patterns related to bee health, pests, or hive conditions and provides an instant report.
Q3: How can I change the app’s language?
Navigate to Settings > Language and select your preferred language.
Q4: Is my data safe?
Yes. We adhere to strict privacy measures:
Media Files (images): Sent temporarily to our AI partner for analysis; not stored in our database.
Personal Data: Processed as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
Q5: Are the analyzed images stored in your database?
No. Images are processed in real-time and deleted after analysis. We do not retain them unless explicitly stated (e.g., for debugging with user consent).
Q6: Who owns the uploaded images?
You retain ownership of all images. However, by uploading, you grant us a license to use them as described in Section 8 (Media Files) of our Terms & Conditions:
We may use them to improve our AI models (anonymized/aggregated).
You waive attribution rights for uploaded content.
Q7: Why is my analysis report inaccurate?
Ensure:
Images are clear, well-lit, and focused on beehive frames.
The upload contains bees (e.g., avoid blank frames or incorrect angles).
Q8: How do I delete my account?
Accounts are deactivated automatically upon subscription expiry. To request manual deletion, contact us here.
Q9: Can I use HiveCheck commercially?
No. The Services are for personal or internal beekeeping use only (Section 5 of Terms & Conditions). Commercial exploitation (e.g., reselling reports) is prohibited.
Q10: Which laws govern HiveCheck?
The Services are governed by Tunisian law. Disputes must be resolved in the Court of First Instance of Tunis (Section 16 of Terms & Conditions).
Q11: How are subscription payments handled?
All payments are processed via the App Store or Play Store. We do not collect payment details.
